How often do you clean your make up brushes?
If you’re anything like me, it won’t be anywhere near as much as you’d like.
After much discussion about this with my friends, I’ve realised that the main reason behind this is how much of a mission it feels to do – particularly when it comes to my foundation brush.
When I was working on a shoot a few years ago, I noticed the make up artist using an electric brush cleaning machine she found on Amazon. She said that as a make up artist, it had changed her life and made the process of cleaning her brushes every day so much easier.
I might not need to do mine quite as much, but anything that makes the arduous task easier sounds like a good idea to me, so I started doing some research into these magical machines.
You won’t believe it, but they’re actually really affordable, starting from just £15, and many are available on Amazon. Hello, next day delivery!
If you’re spending money on brush cleaning soaps, a machine could actually be a much better investment. They also dry your brushes, so you don’t have to wait 24 hours to use them again.
Here are the best make up brush cleaning machines I’ve found, based on their reviews.
