Have a penchant for expensive items but missing the designer budget? Me too.
Thats why I’m pretty good at finding high-street copies of my favourite designers – including those beautiful brushed leather loafers from Prada you’ve been seeing everywhere.
I’ve been spotting the loafers over and over again on Instagram over the past 18 months, with influencers and celebrities such as Emili Sindlev, Sara Louise Thomas, Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid all being spotted in a pair of the coveted shoes.
It’s not just Prada that have dropped loafers this season. Chanel, Gucci, Celine and Saint Laurent are just some of the designers who have thrown their hat in the ring when it comes to the shoe, so it’s clear the style is going no where soon.
I personally love how they can be worn all year round. Team with a summer dress in the summer, or wear them with your jeans in the winter.
Like everyone, I’m desperate for a pair – but they certainly don’t come cheap. If you do want to invest, here are just a few of our favourites from the designer.
Chunky-sole loafers, £950, Prada – buy now
Triangle logo loafers, £920, Prada – buy now
Triangle logo plaque loafers, £920, Prada – buy now
But there are plenty of more purse-friendly styles on the high street, with affordable options from & Other Stories, Vagabond, ASOS and more.
Here are a few I think you’re gonna love. If you like these, check out these similar sandals to Hermés Oran’s.

You can’t go wrong with M&S loafers. This pair is made from real leather, so you know they’ll be super comfy.
Loafers, £110, & Other Stories – buy now
Our favourite high-street store has done it again. These shoes are slick, stylish and look almost identical to the Prada pair.
They’re still an investment, but they’ll last for years and if price per wear means anything, you’ll definitely get your money’s worth.
Glamorous chunky loafers in black patent, now £24, Glamorous – buy now
I love the chunky sole of this Glamorous pair, which are in the sale right now. It perfectly matches Prada’s, and these come in wide fit too.
Track Total Black, now £180, Alohas – buy now
This pair from Alohas look pretty similar, but instead of the triangular panel, they have a chunky gold chain.
Cosmo 2.0 Loafers, £130, Vagabond – buy now
Vagabond is unrivalled when it comes to chunky shoes. This pair is one of the best Prada dupes on the market now, with an almost identical shape – but they’re also a great shoe in their own rite, which is why Kendall Jenner and Katie Holmes are fans.
Grandwalk chunky cleated sole loafers, now £76.50, ALDO – buy now
You won’t get much closer to a perfect Prada dupe than this chunky pair from ALDO. They’re in the sale too, so grab a bargain while you still can.
