Leggings are a style staple, but will they still be on trend in 2022?
The trusty pair of comfy trousers have been getting more wear than ever before thanks to the pandemic. While it didn’t bring much good news, I did appreciate being able to wear mine every day as I worked from home.

Similarly loungewear sets, cute PJs and chunky shoes soared in popularity as we embraced all things comfy.
But what’s in store for us in 2022 and will we still be able to wear our leggings with pride? You bet.
Are leggings still in style in 2022?
It’s safe to say that leggings are here to stay.
2021 opened the door for more colourful and bold looks, and we’re definitely going to be seeing more vibrant and more striking styles next year.
We’ve now gone past the debate on whether leggings can be considered pants and are fully adopting them as staples in our wardrobes, thanks in part to celebrities (Beyonce and Kylie Jenner, amongst others) and influencers.
Pretty much anything goes, and there are more varieties than we’ve ever seen before. Of course plain black pairs are easy to wear, but now we can also wear printed, colourful, slit hem, stirrup and knitted styles too.
