As soon as you take one step out of the door in London, you’ll probably see at least a handful of people wearing Uniqlo’s popular sling bag.
The Mary Poppins bag, which is known for fitting in way more than you’d expect, has taken the world by storm due to its low price, simple design and the aforementioned space it offers. I took mine on holiday recently and it really was my secret weapon.
Lyst, a shopping platform that offers shopping data insights, recently gave the bag the top spot on its list of 2023’s hottest products so far. At just £14.90, it’s the cheapest product to be featured in The Lyst Index but its power is undeniable.
It went viral on TikTok, with over 60 million views on the platform, and continues to sell out in a wide range of colours.
In fact, Uniqlo recently released four new colourways including mustard yellow, plum, burgundy and khaki, and two of these hues have already sold out online.
I’ve bought the bag in two colours and counting, but if you haven’t managed to get your hands on it or want a different colour that Uniqlo doesn’t offer, there are so many bum bags available to solve that exact problem.
My first port of call? Amazon. You can find some really similar bum bags there in all the most popular colours, and then some.
