Autumn seems to have arrived with a bang and while it’s fair to say we enjoyed a long summer, it’s now absolutely freezing – cue me struggling to dig out all my winter coats ASAP.

I’ve been looking for a decent leather look trench coat for ages but I wanted a colourful one as I’m partial to a bit of dopamine dressing, and then I came across this bright green ASOS DESIGN trench in the sale. I can’t believe how affordable it is at now just £48, down from £80.

It has a coated finish, with a notch collar, huge pockets, tie waist and big, black buttons. Reviews all say that it runs large, so you might want to size down if you’re after a tight fit. But I personally love the looser style, as it means I can wear chunky jumpers under it.
