What are the Fashion Awards?

The Fashion Awards, run by the British Fashion Council, are an event held to celebrate those who have made an impact in fashion.

This year, it will honour Leaders of Change (designers, brands, creatives and individuals) in five different categories: Environment, People, Culture, Creativity, Community & Craftsmanship.

Among the accolades that will be given are Designer of the Year, BFC Foundation Award, Outstanding Achievement Award, the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator, and Fashion Icon.

Aside from celebrating outstanding individuals and brands, the event is also held as a fundraiser for the BFC Foundation, a charity that focuses on fashion education, grant-giving and business mentoring.

When are the Fashion Awards happening?

The event will take place this year on 26 November at the Royal Albert Hall.

Can I attend the event?

After a digital-only run last year due to the pandemic, the celebration is back to be enjoyed in the flesh and you can join in the fun!

Tickets have now gone on sale, starting at £50, so make sure you hurry to get yours. Snap up yours here.

What to expect at the event?

A fashion fest, of course!

While we get served with gorgeous looks during the Met Gala, the event follows a theme and only a select few can attend.

However the Fashion Awards are open to the public, so there is a diverse mix of style showcased not just by the award-winners, but the attendees too.
