London lingerie brand Playful Promises is celebrating a #HotDisabledSummer in its new campaign.
Despite many brands promising inclusivity, it’s rare to see a variety of bodies being embraced – particularly when it comes to lingerie.

While they might showcase plus-size women on their social media pages (which btw we LOVE to see), it’s not often that women with disabilities get a feature.
Playful Promises’ new campaign changes that. Teaming up with 10 influencers with disabilities, it showcases the beauties looking incredible in lingerie from the brand in a post shared to Instagram.
At the time of writing it had almost 30,000 likes, while many had responded praising the campaign for making them feel included.
One woman wrote, ‘At first when I was scrolling and saw your tag, and a quick glance at the photo, I immediately assumed it was a joke at the expense of the disabled.
‘I was triggered, but then I was completely surprised at the direction it was actually going. How amazing is this. I am beyond excited for MORE OF THIS.
‘I have been in burlesque for a decade. It’s the only thing I’ve ever found where there is 100% acceptance for all shapes, sizes, colors, abilities, and genders. Thank You for being REAL!!’
