The Spice Girls have launched a limited edition Wannabe t-shirt for Pride - here's where to buy it

Victoria Beckham has teamed up with the Spice Girls and The Albert Kennedy Trust to launch a limited edition Wannabe t-shirt to commemorate Pride this year.

The Spice Girl shared a snap of herself wearing the adorable tee, which has the words, ‘proud and wannabe your lover’ emblazoned on the front in a rainbow font. She wrote, ‘Pride to me is a celebration of being completely yourself and this year’s T-shirt is a reminder of that.

‘The Spice Girls really championed accepting yourself and others, being kind, having fun and just living your best life! The LGBTQ+ community is so close to my heart and I’m so proud to be supporting Pride 2021 with the girls and AKT again this year.’

This is the third year running that Posh’s label has collaborated with akt, with 100% of the proceeds going to the charity to continue funding their work combating LGBTQ+ youth homelessness in the UK.

The charity is based in London, Manchester, Newcastle and Bristol and works to support young people aged 16-25 within the LGBTQ+ community who are experiencing homelessness or living in hostile environments.

So many fashion brands launch Pride-themed items in June, but unfortunately only some donate all of the proceeds to LGBTQ+ charities, so it’s refreshing to see the brand doing so.

You can buy the tee now on the Victoria Beckham website for £80. It comes in sizes XS-XXL and, as Spice Girls fans are notoriously quick to buy the band’s merch, it’s expected to sell out, fast.
