Why wait until the New Year to buy some new leggings?
Every year it’s the same. Come January, there’s a sudden push towards getting fit, eating well and changing your life to become a ‘new and improved’ person.

While I have to admit I have a habit of creating New Year’s resolutions, I also find the idea of waking up in the dark and working out in the cold near impossible.

The only thing persuading me to get involved is the selection of leggings available to wear while doing it. In fact, it’s proven to make a difference.
According to a survey, 69 percent of people claim having nice workout clothing that they enjoy wearing gives them motivation to exercise. So if a pair of new leggings will make a difference, there’s no need to feel guilty in investing.
I’m definitely going to take advantage of this and ensure I’m equipped with the right workout leggings that will not only help me with my form while doing exercises, but also let me look — and feel — good while I do so.
In preparation, I’ve been scouring the web for the best of the best leggings for different types of workouts — from yoga to F45.

We’ve come such a long way from the black pairs of the past. I still love them, but there are so many fun options available right now.
There’s Oysho’s compressive ankle-length leggings in a lovely lilac shade, which are not only pretty to look at, but the compression quality offers support for more intensive exercises.
If you’re more into warm colours, there’s Lululemon’s Wunder tights. As well as the colour, they have a hidden pocket in the waistband to carry your card or keys. It’s made with a material that quickly wicks sweat too.
