I hope the weather is nice where you are right now. As I sit and write this, the rain is pouring and the wind is howling – but despite the awful weather, spring has actually sprung!
If you’re anything like me, you’ve already switched out your winter wardrobe for summer dresses. Premature, yes but we’re hopeful around here.
Amid the cost of living crisis, our priority is affordability. Living expenses in the UK have increased quickly; in February 2023, the cost of consumer goods rose by 10.4% compared to last year.
We’d all love to buy expensive clothes, but it’s just not realistic right now – and we don’t want you to feel guilty about that. If you’re searching for more affordable ways of shopping, I’m here to help.
I’ve taken the liberty of browsing through several of the most affordable high-street fashion brands to expand my summer wardrobe, with a particular focus on dresses and I landed on Primark.
Primark has gained global recognition and adoration for its impressive collection of apparel, footwear, accessories, and homeware for individuals of all ages and genders, all available at remarkably affordable prices.
Opinions on the brand vary from dislike to adoration, but whatever you think about the brand, you can’t deny they have some incredible pieces.
But before I show you what I found, let’s answer your burning questions.
Wear Next may receive a small commission if you click a link from one of our articles onto a retail website and make a purchase.
Does Primark allow online shopping?
Primark does not have an online shopping option, but they do provide a Click and Collect service at certain stores in the UK. You can order it online and collect it at your local store (if it’s available in your area).
Many have expressed their frustration about Primark’s choice to operate via physical stores, to which they commented that their renowned low prices would be compromised if they transitioned to an online store.
Why is Primark so cheap?
This European company can offer amazing prices by focusing on simplicity and efficiency. Their designs and use of inexpensive materials allow them to keep costs low without sacrificing quality.
Unlike other retailers, Primark doesn’t repeat collections, which means you’ll always find something new and exciting on their shelves. Plus, they don’t waste money on excess inventory or storage, so they can pass those savings on to you.
Why is Primark so famous?
Primark is a hugely popular retailer known for its affordable prices and wide range of fashionable items. Their stores offer a one-of-a-kind shopping experience.
Their unique value proposition is the key to their success, and it’s what sets them apart from other retailers.
Is Primark more ethical than Shein?
When it comes to ethical fashion, transparency is key. While Primark has faced criticism for a lack of transparency regarding its green claims, they are still more transparent than Shein.
While both brands have room for improvement in terms of ethics, it’s important to recognize that Primark has taken some steps toward transparency, whereas Shein has not yet addressed these concerns.
We’ve handpicked the best pieces to make you look and feel cool, comfortable, and effortlessly chic all summer.
