There are some accessories that are simply timeless. Hoop earrings, Chanel handbags and black belts are just a few of those outfit extras that can be worn for years on end and still look as chic as ever – and perhaps our favourite example of this is the beret. The hat, which dates back to the 17th century and originated in Southern France, has become particularly en vogue this year after the Netflix series Emily in Paris aired on Netflix in October. The lead character, played by Lily Collins, wears berets in various shades in the show, which led to influencers following suit.
Fortunately it’s a long-time favourite and shows no signs of falling out of favour. We’ve rounded up our favourites available to buy now, including some vintage gems we recommend snapping up now!
