These 70s-Inspired Shoes Are Everywhere

So '70s.

Last Updated on October 9, 2021

The 70s are back in full swing for autumn winter and I’m so here for it! Among the style trends I’m particularly excited to see a resurgence of are clogs.

I know they can be polarising. If you’re on the side of those who don’t really like them that much, perhaps you’ll be enticed to cross over our side of the fence once you see the selections available this season.

We’ve all stayed in our literal comfort zones in the past several months, and now that lockdown is over, it’s time to take a risk — no compromising your health here, it’s all about style.

While I won’t consider clogs as experimental, others may already see them as outlandish. If you’re unsure of how to pull them off, there are actually tons of people to take inspiration from.

From the celebrity world, there’s the ever-stylish and one of our fave fashion girls Alexa Chung pairing her clogs with a jeans and blazer combo. I love how the clogs give the outfit a very different vibe from when compared to if she wore loafers or ballet flats instead.

She’s not the first person to come to mind when you think of ‘70s style because even Kendall Jenner’s in on the clogs trend. The model slash reality star was spotted wearing a white pair to cap off a look that’s similar to Alexa’s but in all light neutral colours.

If these got you interested, you’ll be inching closer to actually getting a pair when you see the ones I’ve picked out for you!

I know I’ve said the selections this season are great, but you have to see them yourself. From Arket to Uterque, here are the best clogs to shop now.
