How to Achieve the Bleached Eyebrow Trend
There are many ways to achieve the bleached eyebrows trend; going to a professional is probably the safest option if you don’t quite trust yourself with bleach your own brows.
The good news about DIY bleached brows is that it’s a relatively low-stakes commitment once you have some brow tint on hand to reverse things if you don’t get the desired effect.
If you do want to DIY the bleached eyebrows effect, you have a few different options available to you.
How To Bleach Your Eyebrows At Home
You first need to ensure the area you are bleaching is clean and dry, next apply a balm like Vaseline around the brow so the bleach only dyes the hair on the brow and doesn’t irritate the skin around it.
Then, using a bleach for facial hair, follow the directions on the box and apply in back and forth motions with a spoolie, ensuring to get it right into the roots.
Leave the bleach develop for roughly 10 minutes before wiping off.
You can use a purple shampoo or purple cream corrector to offset any brassy tones that may happen to naturally darker brows.
How To Fake the Bleached Eyebrows Trend
Bleaching the eyebrows is not the only way to achieve the look. For those of us that are less willing to commit to the bleached brow, make-up is always a great alternative.
The bleached eyebrows look can easily be achieved by applying concealer onto the natural brow using a mascara wand.
This option is perfect for those who want to try the edgy trend but scared to actually commit to bleaching the brows.
