How do I calculate my bra size?
Follow the below steps to determine your size and achieve a comfortable fit. You’ll need an accurate measurement of your band size or underbust size and overbust size in centimeters. For accuracy, you’ll need to stand up without a bra on or wear a nonpadded bra and loosely wrap a tape measure around the fullest part of your bust. Take note of this measurement.
Next, measure around the ribcage just under the bust, again making sure the tape measure is snug but not too tight. This is a tricky part, and this is where you’ll need the calculator. Manually, to determine your cup size, subtract your band size from your bust size and use the difference to find your cup size. A difference of less than 1 is an AA cup, while 1 is an A cup, 2 is a B cup, and so on. Combine this with your band size to determine your correct bra size, remembering that sizing can vary between brands. But with the calculator, you only need to enter the two measurements you did, and you’ll get the perfect fit.

Bra size calculator in inches
When you measure, you should do three things. First is round the number to nearest number. If it 36.5 inch, round it to 37. Second is making it even number. If it 37 inch, make to nearest even number 38. Third is do loose measurement, not tight. Note: Properly measured bust size will give exact cup size.
Manual Bra Size Calculation
In case of error on the above bra calculator, you can do manual calculation. As it mention above, you have to measure bust and rib sizes. Remember, you do not need to change bust size to even number, but you have to do for rib size since bra comes in even number. Also, you have to round the numbers.
Once you get measurements, subtract rib measurement from bust size. After that, use the following bra size chart, and find the cup size. Eg: If bust size is 37 and rib size is 34, subtract like 37-34, and you will get the result 3. Therefore, cup size is C, and proper bra size is 34C.

Are bra size calculators accurate?
Bra size calculators can be helpful in providing an approximate estimation of your bra size. Although they may not always give an accurate result, they serve as a useful guide in determining your potential size. Nothing beats trying on different sizes and styles of bras to find a comfortable and supportive fit, but using a bra size calculator can still be a helpful starting point in your bra shopping journey.
I also find that different lingerie brands’ sizing differs hugely, so it’s also worth getting measured in each specific store, trying on a variety of sizes and also asking for assistance when you’re shopping. Sales assistants in lingerie stores are trained in finding you the perfect fit, so utilise their expertise!
How do you tell if a bra is big on you?
If you’re unsure about your bra size, there are plenty of signs to look out for. If there are gaps between your breasts and the cup, you may be wearing the wrong size. Tightening the straps can resolve slippage issues, but if the problem persists, a smaller band size may be required. Being mindful of these indicators can help you achieve the most comfortable and supportive fit.
