It’s not often that you get a Zara gift and don’t like it – but if the unthinkable happens, how do you return the present?
I mean returning the gift to the retailer and not the person who gave it to you! That would be awks.
But is returning unwanted or ill-fitting Zara presents even possible and how can you do it?
I looked it up and here’s how to go about it.

Can I return a gift from Zara?
Yes, you can return a gift purchased from Zara. Just make sure you have the gift receipt to receive a refund or exchange it for something else.
Can I return an item without a receipt?
The quick answer is no. If you ordered online, you can easily return the items within 30 days of purchase by requesting a return online.
If you purchased from a store and would like to return the item, you may return it at any Zara store in the same region but you have to present your purchase receipt. For in-store returns, you don’t need to make a request online.
How to return Zara gifts
There’s a big chance that a gift receipt came with the Zara gift you received.
Gift receipts don’t contain the prices of the products, but they’re disclosed upon returning the items.
In the UK, you can do so through a drop-off return.
On the gift receipt, mark the item you wish to return. Then, request for the product to be returned by filling out a ticket on Zara’s website.
Once you get a confirmation, pack the item neatly and securely in its original packaging or something similar. And then drop the package off at a courier’s location.
Wait a couple of days and you’ll receive a gift card via email with the amount of the returned item.
Do note that the process may be different in other countries, so it’s best to check with your local Zara store or the brand’s website in your country.
