I’ve been trying to find my feet when it comes to home decor. My process looks a bit like throwing something and seeing what sticks, but sometimes a collaboration comes along that makes working out what the hell to do with a space that little bit easier.
The capsule collection of coasters, vases, throws and more feature some of the brand’s most popular prints, including the monochrome wave and iconic tulip pattern. The latter first adorned the Gio dress in 2015, so if you’re lucky enough to have one, you can now match your Rixo dresses to your home.
The collection starts from a very reasonable £28 for coasters up to £150 for one of their printed vases, which are handmade in Gustavsberg, Sweden.
Rixo’s co-founders Henrietta Rix and Orlagh McCloskey share our joy about the brand’s foray into home decor.
“It’s so exciting seeing our hand-painted prints reimagined by these beautiful accessories,” they say.
“Rixo homeware is something we’ve always really wanted to offer our customers, and collaborating with Meli Meli has been such a great way to explore this new category.”
Meanwhile Melimeli founder Amelia Widell says, “Being a big fan of colour and patterns, I wanted to explore how the amazing Rixo prints could be applied on our interior accessories,.
“I’m a strong believer that you should be able to dress your home in the same way you dress yourself.”
We couldn’t agree more.
