Beyoncé is launching a brand new fragrance, as part of her Renaissance world tour and album. Just when you thought Bey couldn’t get any busier, it turns out she’s been working behind the scenes on a new fragrance to add to her collection of perfumes. Members of the Beyhive were given a sneak preview of the fragrance via email, and as with everything Beyoncé does, the new fragrance sounds unmissable.
Simply labelled Eau de Parfum, the perfume has been released as part of the Renaissance world tour and album that Beyoncé released in July 2022. So far only available in the US and Canada, members of the Beyhive can pre-order it online for $160 before it will ship in November 2023. While we haven’t been given a clear image of the perfume bottle yet, it’s apparently ‘encased in art’. So what about the actual fragrance?
It has top notes of Clementine and Golden Honey, heart notes of Rose Absolute and Jasmine Sambac, and base notes of Namibian Myrrh and Golden Amber. It’s been crafted and designed by Beyoncé herself, and the fragrance is created in France. Right now, each purchase comes with a special gift while quantities last. What does Beyoncé perfume smell like?
So far, we know that the perfume has top notes of Clementine and Golden Honey, heart notes of Rose Absolute and Jasmine Sambac, and base notes of Namibian Myrrh and Golden Amber, making it a sweet and fruity fragrance.
How many Beyoncé perfumes are there?
Beyoncé has 15 perfumes, including the new Renaissance eau de parfum. She created many of her perfumes with perfumers including Claude Dir, Honorine Blanc, Bruno Jovanovic, Carlos Viñals, and Loc Dong, but Renaissance is the first she appears to have created alone. Her most popular fragrances include Heat, Heat Rush and Midnight Heat.
What perfume does Beyoncé wear?
Apparently when Beyoncé was in London for her Renaissance tour, she went to Harrods and picked up a bottle of Kilian Paris’ Angels’ Share, which she was wearing that day too. At £185 it’s not cheap, but would you expect anything less from Queen B? This scent has key notes of cognac, oak, cinnamon, tonka bean, sandalwood, praline and vanilla, which sounds heavenly.
