H&M’s latest designer collaboration is with none other than iconic French fashion house Mugler.
The exciting collection is now available online and in selected stores.
The multinational clothing company has a track record of having partnerships with big names in the fashion industry. Some of the limited edition collections include those with Simone Rocha, Comme des Garcons, and Karl Lagerfeld, among many others.
Mugler was first launched in 1973 and became known for its hyperfeminine and avant-garde approach to fashion.
Since then, the fashion house has dressed supermodel Irina Shayk, actress Meghan Fox, and reality star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian in her iconic wet dress, which she wore to the 2019 Met Gala.
The designer has become known for its mesh bodysuits, so we can expect to see them fly off the shelves fast when the collection drops.
H&M creative advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson worked alongside Mugler’s creative director Casey Cadwallader to create the collection. Speaking at a panel discussion in New York recently,Johannson said Mugler was at the top of H&M’s wish list of brands they wanted to work with.
She added that when the design team were asked who the most interesting designer is right now, “everybody kept saying Mugler.”

Mugler x H&M sizes
The new collection is available in UK sizes 4 to 24.
Cadwallader said that sizing is something the team “works really hard on.”
“Our fit models are curvy, so when we build clothes with that architecture in mind, it translates into production,” he said.
More recently when speaking about the high street collection, Cadwallader explained that creating a collection for every body was important to him.
“I want people to enjoy it, I want everyone to have it,” he said. “I have a very democratic opinion about that.”
