Who organises PFW?

Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (the French Fashion Federation) is in charge of organising Fashion Week in Paris.

With the aid of its partners (Première Vision, Fabernovel, La Redoute, RSM), the Federation offers information and guidance.

Its mission is to strengthen Paris as a global capital of fashion. The financial impact of the PFW on the French capital amounts to €400 million (excluding store sales).

How do you get into PFW?

PFW is usually not open to the public. It’s invite only, so unless you’re a designer, industry insider, or press, the chances of getting a ticket are slim.

You need to be invited by a specific designer’s press team to attend shows, or you can apply for a ticket yourself if you’re an industry leader.

If you plan on attending, it’s worth doing this months in advance as the tickets are assigned early.

Where is Paris Fashion Week held?

The Carrousel du Louvre has served as the primary venue for Paris Fashion Week events for a long time. In addition, 100 other shows occur throughout the city during Fashion Week.

It would be a dream to see the clothes and feel the energy of the shows in real life, but having a front-row digital seat is still a good option. They went full digital in 2021, and this season you can still watch PFW online.

How do I watch PFW online?

Thanks to online streaming, you can now witness the couture and fashion ingenuity of this season’s PFW line-up. You can watch the shows live via PFW’s official website.

Since many designers choose to livestream their shows, almost all of them will be accessible through the website. Dior, Saint Laurent, Givenchy, and other fashion houses are among them.
