Spotted an item on a celebrity you love, or seen an influencer wearing a specific item you’re hunting for? All you need to do is screenshot the item and use the image to scan through all of SHEIN’s products and they’ll show you the most similar products they have. How to search image search for products at SHEIN
There are different ways to search for products via an image in SHEIN. One is through a browser extension. Online shoppers can look for items using the new Shein Image & ID Searcher extension for Chrome. Simply download it and you can search for items just by right-clicking on any image you find online and clicking ‘Search on SHEIN’. Or you can upload a picture by clicking on the extension icon in your browser (the black S inside the magnifying glass) and uploading an image from your computer. After this, you’ll be shown a list of similar products.
Another simple option is to go through the brand’s app, and hit the camera icon located at the top right corner of the page. You can select ‘Taking a Photo’ or ‘Uploading a Picture’ and you’ll be given a list of recommendations.
How do I search for an item on Shein by ID?
For those who want to use SHEIN’s product ID to search for a specific item, you can also do this using the Chrome extension we’ve already mentioned. Simply click on the extension icon, then click ‘By ID.’ You can now enter the code, which is usually a series of numbers and comes after SKU. Following this, enter the code and click on ‘Search on Shein’ and you’ll be redirected to the relevant item immediately. Alternatively you can enter the code into the search bar, and this will bring up the relevant item.
Where can I see the ID in SHEIN?
You can see the ID in SHEIN in the description section of the item, directly underneath the product name. It’s also called the SKU, so look out for ‘SKU:’ before the number.
