When is Black Friday and Cyber Monday?
Black Friday is always in the fourth week of November, which is November 24th in 2023 to be exact. Cyber Monday will then take place on the following Monday, which will be November 27th this year.
Does Selfridges take part in Black Friday & Cyber Monday 2023?
Last year, Selfridges decided to do things a little bit differently by launching a seasonal sale over the sale period rather than calling it their Black Friday sale. So technically Selfridges doesn’t participate in Black Friday and Cyber Monday – but their sale does end at the end of Cyber Monday. Whatever way you look at it, Cyber weekend is a great time to get a good deal at Selfridges!
How big are the Selfridges Black Friday & Cyber Monday sale discounts?
Every year, Selfridges does a clearance sale from fashion to houseware. There were a lot of designer brand bargains and some of the discounts were as big as 50% off. You can expect discounts to be just as big this year.

In the past, customers have been known to queue outside the doors of the department store from 7am – but why deal with a rowdy crowd of discount-hungry shoppers when you can go Black Friday shopping in the comfort of your own home? The discounts you get in the store are the same as the discounts you get when you shop online, so ditch the queues, put the kettle on and grab your laptop instead.
You can even get a head start by browsing ahead of time and taking note of everything you want to get then check your cart out on Black Friday. Make a clear wish list of the non-negotiables that you’ll definitely buy if the discounts are good enough so you don’t get overwhelmed and distracted by all the other great offers on November 24th.
