By now, you’ve probably studied the Simone Rocha x H&M collection in detail and bookmarked every item you want to buy ahead of the launch tomorrow – but have you seen the limited edition red sequin dress?
The incredible red sequin gown is set to be sold exclusively online in the UK along with an embellished Alice band, and there’s only 10 pieces of each available to buy when it hits the website tomorrow morning.
They are part of the City Edition line, a limited release of Simone Rocha x H&M pieces created in celebration of the world’s eternal fashion hubs – Shanghai, London, New York, Paris and Tokyo.
Sequin Dress, £199.99, Simone Rocha x H&M: London City Edition
Each city-specific piece will be sold exclusively in the corresponding country, meaning the London-inspired red sequin gown and red embellished Alice band will be sold here in the UK, while the tinsel-patterned tulle coat will be sold in the United States, the scuba mesh dress in France, the water-repellent trench coat in China and the set of pink hair slides and earrings in Japan.
There are only 10 pieces of each item, including the hair slides and Alice bands, meaning they’re set to be worth a lot of money for those who manage to buy them…but it won’t be an easy feat.

So how can you get your hands on the limited release City Edition red sequin dress?
For those really serious about getting hold of the dress, we recommend setting up camp the morning of the collection launch on March 11.
H&M has confirmed to Wear Next that it will go on sale at approximately 8am, while it says on its website: ‘Approximately one hour before release, hm.com will be in preparation mode. Please be patient while we prepare the site for this year’s designer collaboration.’

You’ll be unable to buy anything over the phone and H&M have set a limit of a maximum of two of each item per customer maximum – including accessories, shoes and bags.
This is to prevent shoppers bulk buying the collection and reselling it for much more than it’s worth, which has happened with many previous designer collaborations H&M has been a part of.
We’ll see you in the virtual queue!
