When is Milan Fashion Week 2022?
The first leg of the womenswear shows is happening from 22 to 28 February, so make sure you put these dates on your calendar.
The menswear shows, which were originally scheduled to be held in December, were postponed to coincide with the womenswear shows this February.
However, the shows seem to be faced with a lot of challenges, mostly due to the pandemic.
Giorgio Armani has decided to call off his shows for both his main line and Emporio Armani label, according to GQ. Jonathan Anderson has also reportedly switched the JW Anderson show to a digital format.
Is Milan Fashion Week open to the public?
The ‘Big Four’ Fashion Weeks are some of the most important events in the world of fashion, so it comes as no surprise that these shows are invite only.
Luckily the pandemic has meant that you’re now able to tune in digitally to many of the biggest shows.
How do you get invited to Milan Fashion Week?
You can get tickets to the show through a designer’s team or you can also get accreditation from the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, which organises Milan Fashion Week.
Unfortunately the accreditation period for freelance journalists has already ended. However, if you’re a buyer, you can still apply until 18 January.

How can you watch Milan Fashion Week 2022?
With the Omicron variant of COVID starting to rapidly spread, you may want to attend the shows digitally instead. Many designers have opted to go down the live-streaming route, so there will be lots to see in the comfort of our homes.
Just head to the Camera Moda website to stream.
