What Daisy Did Next: A New Column From Wear Next Founder & Editor Daisy Jordan

Here, Daisy shares her finds of the week.

Last Updated on June 27, 2022

Hello! My name is Daisy, and if you don’t know me, I’m the Founder and Editor of Wear Next.

I launched the website you’re now reading at the end of 2020, and now I spend every waking hour of every day researching fashion trends, scouring the shops for the best new pieces and documenting it right here – as well as on my Instagram.

It only seemed natural to start my own column, so I can get a little more personal with you, the readers and share where I’m shopping, who I’m following and what I’m getting upto.

It’s a dream come true to run my own website. I started my career in fashion at Fabulous magazine, where I worked as a Fashion Assistant. It was my dream job; who wouldn’t love playing with clothes all day every day?

I spent my days assisting the magazine’s Fashion Editors, styling my own pages and attending press days, where I got to see all the new season pieces from all your favourite high street brands.

After two years, I then went to work at Oasis, where I was their Brand Stylist. I left the job just before the pandemic hit to go travelling in South East Asia, but as you can imagine I didn’t last very long before I was forced to fly home.

Luckily it all worked out for the best, as that’s what led me to starting my very own digital magazine. Now the team and I share the latest fashion news, trends and advice with over 300,000 readers every month (and counting).

After years in London, I now live in Margate with my boyfriend Tal, my best friend Delia and my dog Freddie. As you may have gathered, I love to wear colour. I’ve always been inspired by my mum, who’s never been afraid of a bold print and a bright outfit.

Here, I’ll be sharing my outfits, wish lists and what I’ve been getting up to. Plus, I’ll be answering any burning fashion questions you have, whether it’s about this season’s biggest trends or how to style a piece you’re struggling to wear.

You can also follow me on Instagram.

I’ve never worn white jeans before, but they’re so easy to style. They go with nearly everything, and make any outfit look instantly chic.

There are still a few sizes left in the pair I bought (pictured above), and there are many more gorgeous pairs available right now too.

Here are my favourites.
