Coggles Black Friday & Cyber Monday Sale Expected Discounts & Dates

You don't want to miss this!

Last Updated on November 10, 2023

If you’re a fan of Coggles, get ready for a big Black Friday. The retailer is no stranger to sale events and discounts and Black Friday is no different. Here, I’m sharing everything you need to know including what Black Friday actually is, the discounts we’re expecting and our top tips for making the most out of the shopping event.

The premium retailer houses the best fashion brands, emerging designers, and rare international labels you can’t find anywhere else. Home to the UK’s largest street-style archive, Coggles has collaborated with many iconic brands and fashion houses in the last four decades, including Ralph Lauren, Ganni and Alexander Wang. But it’s more than just their designer clothes—they’re a lifestyle destination. You can also find beautiful homeware and exclusive beauty products.

Founded by Victoria Bage in 1974, Coggles has a juicy backstory. According to their website, the brand was named after the secretary Victoria caught her husband having an affair with. Whether true or not, it’s such an iconic move to name her store after her husband’s lover to constantly remind him of his mistake, it’s hard not to love Coggles just for that reason.

But its products are pretty good too – and by pretty good, we mean really good. Amongst my personal favourite brands is Ganni, KITRI, Self-Portrait and RIXO and there’s plenty more where that came from. With Black Friday fast approaching, it’s time to get organised. So when is the sale and how much can you save? Here’s everything we know.

Next, read more about the Black Friday sales at Net-a-Porter, Matches Fashion, Selfridges and Farfetch.

What is Black Friday?

Black Friday is a highly anticipated shopping event that takes place every year and sees fashion, beauty, homeware, tech brands and many more offer very generous discounts on their products for a limited time only. This exciting shopping day takes place on the last Friday of November, the day after Thanksgiving in the US.

It offers shoppers the opportunity to kick-start their Christmas shopping with incredible discounts, making gift giving a little bit cheaper. The name “Black Friday” symbolises a shift for retailers from financial losses to impressive profits thanks to the overwhelming sales volume during this period. It’s when many brands have their best sales of the whole year.

When is Black Friday?

Black Friday takes place on the last Friday of November. This year, that’s November 24th. Cyber Monday then takes place the following Monday, which is November 27th this year.

Will Coggles take part in Black Friday?

Yes – Coggles always takes part in Black Friday and Cyber Monday. They already have a dedicated page for the biggest sale event of the year, which has 123 pages of designer items from Ganni, Balenciaga, Coach, Gucci, Dr Martens and more. We’re also expecting them to take part in Cyber Monday, especially as they’re a digital-only platform.

If you can’t wait, you’ll be glad to know that there’s a mid-season sale on right now. Use the code COGS23 for 25% off selected styles until 12th November at midnight.

How big are the discounts? Our prediction

Last year, Coggles offered up to 40% off so while we can’t say for certain, we’re predicting similarly generous discounts for 2023.

Wear Next opinion

We believe that fashion should be accessible to everyone, but we also can’t ignore the environmental impact of Black Friday. Shopping sustainably is not ideal for everyone—some people have tight budgets or can’t find pieces due to size constraints.

We encourage you to shop smarter, not harder, for this year’s Black Friday. Avoid purchasing items you don’t need, and be mindful of your spending habits.

It can be tempting to buy the latest trendy clothes for half the price, but not everything will be on trend in the next 12 months. Here’s a tip: make a list of everything that your wardrobe actually needs, and stick to a budget.
