Jumpsuits and boilersuits started trending in 2018 and they haven’t gone far since.
Lucy and Yak’s loose-fitting overalls, denim jumpsuits with contrast stitching, and corduroy styles were just some of the jumpsuits that were absolutely everywhere due to how easy they are to wear.
While they take very little thought when it comes to putting together an outfit in the morning, they look great on everyone.
As always, Wear Next encourages you to wear what makes you feel comfortable and happy – but for those who want to know, we’ll be looking at whether jumpsuits are still in style for AW21.

Are jumpsuits still in style in 2021?
Jumpsuits are still trending for autumn and winter. While we liked the look of fun and citrus-coloured pieces during summer, we’re taking a more subtle (albeit still bright) route for the latter part of the year. Dior’s making a case for denim, while Prada’s all about details.
Black jumpsuits will always be on-trend, of course. This year, it’s poised to dethrone the LBD after pieces from Mugler and Saint Laurent were seen worn by the likes of Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taraji P. Henson.
Jumpsuits were one of SS21’s biggest trends – and chances are, you already have one or two in your wardrobe already.
70s-inspired styles with plunging necklines and flared trousers were spotted on the Chanel, Tom Ford and Balmain runways, while tailored jumpsuits were seen on the Hermés and Bottega Veneta SS21 shows.
Stella McCartney and Max Mara opted for utilitarian iterations of the trend, and it looks like we’ll be seeing sleeveless styles in leather and denim this spring too as seen at Burberry and Celine.
But of course, you don’t need designer pieces to get the look. Here are jumpsuits from the high street you may want to snap up.
