Puffer jackets have been trending for years now, but is it going to stick?
I only really like buying pieces that will last forever in terms of quality, but also style. I don’t necessarily subscribe to every trend that comes along, but of course there are plenty I do adopt.

It goes without saying that it’s really only worth purchasing pieces you really love wearing, rather than just buying anything that’s on trend.
However if you have been eyeing up puffer coats for the past few months and have decided that now is time to get involved, it’s worth noting whether the trend is actually going to last longer than this season to inform your choice.
At Wear Next, we encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident, so please don’t take this advice as gospel. Pick and choose the trends you follow based on your own individual needs and you can’t go wrong.

Are puffer jackets on trend this year?
Puffer jackets are going no where.
Whether you opt for a cropped style, or a long puffer coat, you can’t really go wrong with this trend. Not only are they stylish, but they’re so warm too – ideal for the winter months.
Countless designers dropped their individual takes on the puffer, including Loewe and Boss, while the high street has been chockablock with affordable outerwear in this style.
What other jackets are trending?
Other than puffer jackets, quilted jackets are another similar and huge trend for the season. The Frankie Shop’s has sold out on more than one occasion.
These come in a huge variety too, including quilted vests.
Charlotte Simone’s faux fur trimmed jackets have proved another hit (and there are plenty of similar ones on the high street if you missed out on the last drop from the designer).
