This season is all about having fun – and that isn’t limited to our clothes.
While AW21 fashion is undoubtedly extravagant, this autumn we’re also embracing the little things again – from being able to cuddle our loved ones, to playing in the autumn leaves.
Our new editorial Autumn Awakening represents that feeling of being let out into the wild and behaving like a kid again after a long time inside – something I’m sure all of us can relate to.
Shot in the village of Whitchurch on Thames, photographer Olivia Bossert worked her magic (despite the weather refusing to play ball) to create the beautiful images you’re about to see.
On what inspired the shoot, Olivia says, “I’d been driving through the village of Whitchurch on Thames since moving to Berkshire and loving how quaint and quintessentially British it was – so when the Leaves started to turn and they matched the red brick of the houses, I loved it even more and knew I needed to shoot a story of some kind there.”
Styled by Charly Suggett, the outfits are a mixture of high street, mid-range designer labels and vintage pieces, making each look achievable and easy to recreate.
