There are already lots of crochet dresses on my wishlist, now it’s time for crochet bags.
I’m a big fan of ‘70s fashion — Francoise Hardy, Stevie Nicks, and Diane von Furstenberg are just a few of my icons — so I’m chuffed that everything crochet is having its moment.
Bottega Veneta released a cute crochet bag that’s perfect for summer – but if you’re a fan of this granny chic trend like me, I’m sure you’ll have no problem wearing it beyond the season.
That said, not all of us have the budget to buy a designer bag that costs £3,320 on a whim. The good news is we don’t really need to. Etsy is filled with talented crafters who make good-quality crochet bags minus the 4-figure price tag.
The high street is packed with options right now too. From Zara to COS to Pull & Bear, there’s useful and cute arm candy waiting for us.
There’s a braided neutral crochet bag with fringe from Mango that’s made to match all our boho-inspired outfits, as well as a shopper bag from Pull & Bear that’s roomy enough for all of your essentials. I also found one in a really fun teal colour with bright little daisies as accents — the perfect tote to bring to beachside trips.
Here are 8 of the crochet bags on my wishlist.
