Ganni’s rise to fame over the last few years has been pretty spectacular. They’ve built up an army of #gannigirls all over the globe.
This comes as no surprise once you see their colourful, contemporary collections that tiptoe on the verge of streetwear and maximalism. In layman’s terms: just seriously cool clothes.
As for collabs, Ganni are no stranger to a good partnership. Previous collabs include Levi’s, Juicy Couture and Barbour which have only furthered their mass following.
Next on the list is the breakthrough Paris-based fashion brand Ester Manas – a sustainable and inclusive brand that emerged during Paris Fashion Week a few years back and has gone from strength to strength ever since.
They have been deemed a size inclusivity pioneer in the fashion industry and have been decorated with prestigious awards such as H&M Design Award, Hyères Festival, LVMH Prize and ANDAM Prize.
Their fierce, sexy designs have even garnered the attention of high-profile fans including Lizzo! Must be good, right?
We first got wind of this exciting collab in Ester Manas’s SS23 Sunset Bodies show last October which featured beach, lounge, and evening wear in all manner of bold shapes, textures, and eye-catching sunset hues.
But perhaps the most thrilling look from the show was captured on the model (Alva Claire) who sported the Ganni-emblazoned t-shirt featuring two hands holding each other to form a heart shape.
What makes the Ganni x Ester Manas collab so exciting?
Both brands are killing the game right now, and this partnership will almost undoubtedly fuse everything we love about each brand (Ganni’s effortless edge with Ester Manas’s fierce, empowering designs) and birth a collection of pieces in a whole realm of their own.
When is the Ganni x Ester Manas release date?
There’s been no confirmed release date yet, but WWD report that it’s coming in summer 2023.
Rest assured I’m keeping my eyes peeled and I’ll be updating the article as soon as I have more information.
Who else is excited to see what these two powerhouses have in store for us?
