Prefer to Keep Your Arms Covered? These Long-Sleeved Wedding Guest Dresses Are the Key

Job done.

Last Updated on May 12, 2023

There’s a whole host of reasons why you might prefer to keep your arms covered, but I’m not here to guess. What I am here to do is find you the most stylish and intentional long-sleeved wedding guest dresses, so you can look and feel comfortable.

You could be reading this from anywhere in the world, but where we’re based in the UK, you can never trust the summer weather.

The wedding in question might be booked for June, but when the date arrives, it could very well be pouring with rain so trust me when I say that you most likely won’t look overdressed.

Modest fashion is on the rise too. The State of the Global Islamic Economy Report 2020/1 has reported that the sector is estimated to reach a value of $311 billion by next year, so you’re not alone in wanting to keep covered.

But that doesn’t mean you need to sacrifice on style or fun. These wedding guest dresses I’ve found are beautiful!

Personally, I’m drawn to colours and prints. And when it comes to finding fashionable pieces that suit my style, Kitri Studio has certainly been delivering the goods.

But there’s plenty more to choose from, with Reformation, H&M, Rixo and more in the mix.

How do you style a long sleeve long dress?

A long-sleeved dress paired with a cute pair of boots can be the perfect outfit for those crisp spring days. Take advantage of the sunny weather by wearing a lightly-ruffled long dress with stiletto boots for a chic and stylish look.

If you want some breathable options, you will never go wrong with a a pair of strappy sandals too – especially if the weather has warmed up.

Don’t forget to accessorise with some simple hoop earrings and dainty layered necklaces.

What should I wear to a wedding as a guest?

Wedding fashion rules have certainly shifted over the years, and today, individuals are encouraged to express their personal style when selecting what to wear. As long as guests respect the bride and groom’s wishes regarding dress code, they are free to wear what they want as long as it’s respectful.

Dresses and jumpsuits are a risk-free choice.

One area where we’ve seen significant change is in the colour choices for wedding attire. In the past, it was generally considered taboo to wear colors like red, white, or black to a wedding.
