When is Seoul Fashion Week?

Seoul Fashion Week is scheduled from September 5th to 9th, 2023, and will be showcasing Spring/Summer 2024 collections. The event usually takes place in October but this season’s event has been brought forward to coincide with international art fair Frieze in the hope it will gain more attention.

The upcoming fashion event will see 31 brands (8 of them emerging labels) present their collections, as well as a trade show with 120 overseas buyers from 28 different countries in attendance. Seoul Fashion Week would not be complete without the appearance of K-pop stars; for this season’s show, hit girl group NewJeans serves as the promotional ambassador for SFW.

Who organises SFW?

Seoul Fashion Week has been organised by the Seoul Metropolitan Government since 2021.

How do you get into SFW?

Most of the shows in Seoul Fashion Week are invite only, although the city is making the fashion event more accessible to the public with pop-ups being open to the public. Another way to get into the event is by applying to attend. You’ll need to log in to the official Seoul Fashion Week website during the application period and submit an application. If you are chosen, you will receive an invitation stating which show you will be attending as an audience member.

Where is SFW held?

The upcoming Seoul Fashion Week will be at the famous Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Jung District, central Seoul.

How do I watch SFW online?
