Despite the fact there’s been a heatwave happening in the UK, I noticed over the weekend my friend was wearing cowboy boots. Yep, in 30 degree heat.
You might think that was a foolish choice, but she’s definitely onto something. Cowboy and western style boots are set to be one of AW22’s biggest boot trends, and it’s very rare to see them everywhere in the summer months, but I definitely have.
They look so good with summer dresses, it’s hard to resist wearing them – even if your feet are sweating.
We saw models at Ganni, Vivienne Westwood and Stella McCartney stomping down the runway for AW22 in theirs. These boots were definitely made for walking (unlike some of the boot trends we’re seeing coming through for the new season).
If you want to dip a toe into the trend so to speak, the high street are dropping pairs like crazy. I’ve found 13 pairs that will set you back less than £100 from Stradivarius, Topshop, Pull & Bear and many more brands.
