Zara really know what they’re doing when it comes to drumming up excitement for sales, don’t they?
Nope, I’m not talking a huge marketing budget and constant ads. Zara keeps completely quiet about its sales until right at the last moment, which actually works to make the anticipation even greater.
Similarly Zara doesn’t bother with discount codes or student discounts; you need to wait until the end of season sale arrives.
But it isn’t all bad news. While the Inditex brand doesn’t bother with all of the above, it has a secret sale section on its website that’s updated from time to time. Here, you can find a selection of discounted gems that you won’t discover in-store.
Introducing the Special Prices section, a treasure trove of Zara pieces that are on sale. It’s surprisingly tricky to find.

How to find sale items on Zara
Zara obviously updates its homepage regularly, but the Special Prices section is usually found right at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
Sometimes it’s highlighted in pink, other times its hidden away in grey.
Unfortunately it isn’t live all the time, but when it is, you’ll find it here.
When is the Zara sale?
While the Special Prices section is handy, it isn’t a huge sale.
These are rare at Zara but they do happen a few times a year. Usually they’re not difficult to find; Zara often closes down the website for an hour beforehand, then there’s a site takeover dedicated to the sale.
The next sale is expected to happen in June. For more details, check out our guide to the Zara sale.
How often do Zara get new stock?
New stock is released every week. Yep, you read that right.
According to Marie Claire, the best days to shop online are usually Monday and Thursday.
Does Zara return sale items?
Certainly! Zara allows returns on sale items within a 30-day period starting from the date of purchase. This policy applies to both in-store and online purchases.
But, if you choose to buy items in-store, I highly recommend trying them on before leaving the store to minimize the likelihood of needing to make a return trip.
