Can’t wait until pay day to shop on H&M? Klarna is a payment method which allows you to buy now and pay later.
The payment option is a controversial one. While Klarna does say it’s safe to use and that using it won’t affect your credit rating, some have reported being unable to buy a house due to their use of it.
Using a buy now, pay later service like Klarna allows you to shop without immediate payment worries. However, it’s important to remember that delaying payment only postpones the concern of finding the funds later on.
In keeping things balanced, I must add that the payment method can be really useful if you want to try something on at home and don’t want to shell out for the privilege.
This is because you can order items, try them on and if you don’t love them, return them – all without money ever having to leave your bank account.

Does H&M take Klarna?
Yes, it certainly does. You can choose from the Pay in 30 days or Pay in 4 Instalments options, and it also allows you to snooze your payment if you need more time.
Unlike most brands, however, you can also do this with in-store purchases.
How to use H&M pay later in store
All you need to do is download the H&M app in order to buy now and pay later on purchases made in-store.
You’ll first need to activate Pay later in the H&M app and scan your membership QR-code at the till. Immediately after your purchase is registered, Klarna will send you the payment information by email.
This isn’t applicable to the Pay in 3 Instalments option.
