After a long wait, Emily in Paris returns today for season two – and so too do a slew of new outfits to pore over.
The outfits are bigger and bolder than ever before, with costume designer Marylin Fitoussi admitting her mantra for the show is “too much good taste is boring.”

While some viewers adored the maximalist outfits worn by Emily (Lily Cole) and put together by Fitoussi and none other than Sex and the City‘s stylist extraordinaire Patricia Field in season one, others tore apart its cliché ideas about living in Paris.
Regardless of what you thought, there’s no denying that it was a huge success. 58 million households watched the show in its first 28 days, making it Netflix’s most popular comedy series of 2020.
Today Emily and her pals Mindy (Ashley Park) and Camille (Camille Razat) are back for season 2, and as the prospect of tighter restrictions looms in the air, we’re planning to devour it.
