After what feels like an eternity, H&M has just announced the upcoming launch of their AW23 Studio collection, so it’s only right that we’d give you a sneak peek. The new collection will mark 10 years of H&M Studio, after the high street brand first launched the biannual limited edition line back in 2013, and trust me when I say it’s a good’un. Described as H&M’s “most directional, fashion-forward offering” by H&M’s Head of design and creative advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson, the latest Studio collection offers a selection of monochromatic, tailored and sophisticated pieces ready for the new season.
Inspired by sophisticated film noir heroines, highlights of the collection include an exaggerated pussybow blouse, a patent leather two-piece, embellished denims and an incredible gold bustier. There are accessories too, including an incredible oversized leather handbag, black leather gloves, mixed metal jewellery and a pair of pointed black stiletto boots that mean serious business.
“For Autumn, our design team has created a collection that feels pragmatic but poetic,” Johannson says. “Premium qualities feature throughout the collection with tailoring, outerwear, and decorated denim that you’ll fall in love with instantly, and wear over and over, for years to come.”

The great news is that there’s not too long to wait before you can get your hands on the collection. It’s set to land on September 28th, and if you’re planning to make a purchase, I recommend putting it in your calendar as the key pieces won’t stick around for long!
Where can I buy H&M Studio’s AW23 collection?
H&M Studio’s AW23 collection will be available from selected stores and on hm.com. If you’re planning to make a purchase in-store, you’ll be able to to find out which stores it will available from closer to the time on hm.com. If you’re planning to buy online, I recommend logging in early doors on September 28th to avoid disappointment.
While it’s not quite as big as H&M’s designer collaborations, the Studio collections are pretty popular. The key pieces often sell out very quickly, so it’s worth being organised.
