How Long Do SHEIN Orders Take UK – Delivery Time

We’ve found an amazing SHEIN delivery tool that makes things very clear.

Wondering about SHEIN’s delivery time? Then you’ve come to the right place. Here we’ll go through everything you need to know about the Chinese company’s delivery time. Originally, SHEIN used to ship directly from China, but as the brand has expanded and grown exponentially, SHEIN clothing is now shipped from a number of different warehouses globally.

SHEIN has warehouses located in the following regions:

  • Asia
  • Middle East
  • Europe
  • America

This can affect how long you’re waiting for an item – but also gives you plenty of opportunity to cancel an order if you’re having second thoughts. At the time of writing next day delivery is not available for UK customers, as per the official website.

Remember, if you’re after more information about SHEIN or ordered something you’re not too fond of, make sure to check out our comprehensive guide about how to cancel a SHEIN order. Now, back to the delivery time.

SHEIN shipping time

First thing’s first. SHEIN’s shipping time depends on where you live and what sort of delivery option your have chosen. Thankfully, after doing a quick search, I’ve found a handy tool from SHEIN itself that can give you really good estimate of the time it’ll take your order to reach your door. It states the time taken to receive your order will be a sum of both the ‘processing time’ and the ‘shipping time’.

The UK version of the tool can be be found on the official SHEIN website right here. The US version of the tool can be found here. Let’s now take a look at some standard expected delivery times with a couple of examples.

SHEIN delivery if you’re based in UK

If you’re based in the UK, using the SHEIN estimated shipping tool, it states you need to expect to wait 1-3 days for your order to be processed. Remember, next-day delivery is not available for those in the UK.

If you were ordering from Durham in the UK, for example, your delivery time will be based on the following factors:

  • Standard shipping (ยฃ2 if your order is less than ยฃ35): If ordered on July 17 – you would receive the item between July 26 – July 28. Total maximum time from order to delivery = processing time of 3 days + 11 days (July 28) = 14 days
  • Click and collect (ยฃ2 if your order is less than ยฃ35): If ordered on July 17 – you would receive the item between July 26 – July 28. Total maximum time from order to delivery = processing time of 3 days + 11 days (July 28) = 14 days
  • Express (ยฃ9): If ordered on July 17 – you would receive the item between July 24 – July 26. Total maximum time from order to delivery = processing time of 3 days + 9 days (July 26) = 12 days

That means that, according to the SHEIN shipping estimate tool, the longest possible time for your order to be received would be around 14 days. The quickest delivery option, Express, looks to shave off two days but does cost nearly five times more. It does state that factors such as weather could affect international shipping, so we advise keeping an eye on order tracking.

SHEIN delivery if you’re based in US

If you’re based in the US, using the US version of the SHEIN shipping tool, once again you need to expect to wait 1-3 days for your order to be processed. There is no Click and Collect option but Express Delivery is free if you spend over $129, so this is absolutely the way to go if you’ve got a large haul.

Based on getting your order delivered to California, your delivery time will be based on the following:

  • Standard shipping ($3,99 if your order is less than $29): If ordered on July 17 – you would receive the item between July 25 – July 30. Total maximum time from order to delivery = processing time of 3 days + 13 days (July 30) = 16 days
  • Express ($12.90 but free on orders over $129): If ordered on July 17 – you would receive the item between July 23 – July 26. Total maximum time from order to delivery = processing time of 3 days + 11 days (July 28) = 14 days

That means that, according to the SHEIN table, the longest possible time for your order to be received would be around 16 days if you lived in California. It does state that factors such as weather could affect international shipping, so we advise keeping an eye on order tracking.

The good news is that the clothing brand states that a โ€œQuickshipโ€ tag will let you know that the item may be available to be shipped from a warehouse located in the United States. They go on to say: “If the item is not available to be shipped from a warehouse located in the United States, it will be shipped from a warehouse located outside the United States.”

What happens if my SHEIN package is late?

Waiting for a package that hasn’t turned up yet? If it’s been delayed for over a week after the predicted arrival date, you should track your parcel’s location using the tracking provided by SHEIN. It might have got lost in transit, so if you notice it hasn’t moved for a long time it’s recommended to contact customer service and explain the situation. You might be given a refund, so if you still want the items in your order, you’ll have to reorder them.

We hope you’ve found this helpful, if anything it brings the rather hidden and very useful shipping tool to light. Of course, it’s highly recommended you keep track of your order so you can get up-to-date information, but the shipping information tool does at least provide some decent estimates.

Is it normal for Shein to be late?

While orders sometimes arrive late, it’s not necessarily normal. Delays can happen due to various factors like high order volume, customs clearance, or busy shipping seasons. If your order is over a week past the estimated delivery date, it’s best to contact customer service.

What if my Shein item has not arrived?

If your Shein item hasn’t arrived after the estimated delivery time, track your order using the tracking number provided. If it hasn’t moved for a while or shows signs of being lost, contact Shein customer service for assistance. They might offer a refund or help you reorder the item.

Why has my Shein package been in transit for 3 days?

Three days in transit isn’t abnormal, especially for standard shipping within the UK. It typically takes 8-10 business days for delivery. However, if it remains stuck for an extended period (like a week or more), contact customer service to check on its status and possible delays.

Shein delivery FAQ

Hopefully you’ve learned everything you need to know about Shein’s delivery, but below you’ll find answers to some of the most commonly asked questions

How soon will my Shein order arrive?

If you’re based in the UK, you can expect your Shein order to arrive 14 days after you bought it online if you opted for standard delivery. If you selected express delivery, it should arrive 12 days after you placed the order.

Does Shein deliver on Sunday?

It depends which courier they’re using. Shein will deliver on Sundays if the courier is Evri or DPD, but not Royal Mail.

How long does it take Temu to deliver?

If you’re ordering from the UK, Temu takes 1-3 days to process your order and a further 6-8 business days to deliver it, so you’re looking at a maximum wait of 11 days. This is shorter if you opt for express shipping, as the shipping time is 3-8 business days.

Why is Temu so cheap?

Temu is so cheap as the products are shipped directly from vendors in China, cutting out the middlemen who usually make a profit from shipping the products themselves and selling them on. It’s also been reported that Temu is able to be so cheap as the products they sell fall under the U.S. Customs threshold. Any shipment worth less than $800 isn’t inspected by Customs, nor is it taxed.
