Since Farfetch launched its beauty section last month, I’ve found myself perusing its offerings non-stop.

As well as iconic beauty brands like Aesop, La Mer and Charlotte Tilbury (yes please!), there are an abundance of luxury fragrances on offer that will please even the pickiest of perfume lovers – and trust me, I’m one of them.

I’d rather go fragrance-free than wear any perfume for the sake of it, but after searching low and high for what feels like years, I’ve finally found what works for me. Nothing too sweet or intense, but not too citrusy either.

Created for both men and women, it’s a refreshing citrus scent that’s been one of the world’s most iconic fragrances since its first release in 1994.

If you haven’t yet heard of BDK Parfums, you’re in for a treat.

David Benedek founded the brand in 2016 following a stint at Institut Francais de la Mode, and the French brand has since developed a cult following.

Its perfumes are formulated using only the finest raw ingredients, sourced from the Grasse region of France.

Each fragrance is inspired by a story, and Rouge Smoking is based on a resident of Pigalle. With top notes of cherry accord and pink berries, it has heart notes of black vanilla and base notes of white musk and cashmeran.
