Zara’s winter sale is coming soon – but when can you expect to get those incredible discounts? I’m sharing everything you need to know, right here. As well as its special clearance promotions like Black Friday and Boxing sales, what I’m looking forward to is the brand’s seasonal sales, especially during the winter. I feel like I’m getting the most out of my money by buying coats, puffer jackets, and sweaters at a discounted price. Cool right? Unlike most other brands that offer sales throughout the year, Zara is known for keeping sales exclusively seasonal, choosing not to offer discounts or codes at any other time of the year.
While this can be disappointing, it makes it all the more worth it – especially as it doesn’t scrimp when the sales are on. During their annual January sale, almost all of their pieces get their prices slashed before the summer pieces start dropping.
While the summer sale ended a while ago, there are still so many discounted pieces on the site right now. The new in section is already heaving with gorgeous pieces too. But for now, here’s what you need to know about the winter sale.

When does the Zara winter sale start?
The big winter Zara sale kicks off on Christmas Day and lasts throughout January. It usually starts on the app before launching on the website, then hitting stores the following day. If you are on the hunt for jackets, coats, and blazers, this is the best time to shop for winter essentials, as they also offer boots and winter accessories. You might also want to check out the Zara app and their website for further announcements.
Before then, we’re predicting that Zara will be taking part in Black Friday. Black Friday will take place on 24th November this year.
What’s included in the Zara winter sale?
So many items are slashed off during the brand’s sales, not just for winter but during all it’s other – very few, but big – sale events. In the previous winter sale, everything was discounted by up to 60% except the new winter collection — from party dresses to pants and we’re expecting it to be the same this time around.
Predicted Zara sale dates in 2023
January sale: In 2022, the January sale started on Christmas Day on the app and online first, before launching in-stores on Boxing Day. The sale continued throughout January. We’re expecting a similar time frame in 2023-2024.
Summer sale: The Zara summer sale started on June 21st in 2023 and was initially held exclusively on the app and online, before moving to stores on June 22nd. This lasted throughout July until stocks lasted.
Black Friday: Zara always takes part in Black Friday so we’re expecting them to offer discounts for this year’s shopping event too. Black Friday takes place on Friday, 24th November in 2023. In the past, Zara has offered 20% off everything for one day only so you can expect a similar offer this year. Zara doesn’t usually take part in Cyber Monday.
Sadly Zara doesn’t take part in any other sale dates throughout the year, but keep an eye on the Special Prices section for offers that are never publicly shared by Zara.

Sadly, the brand doesn’t offer discount codes, so it’s worth making the most of the sales when they do happen.

Does Zara offer Black Friday discounts?
Zara slashed its prices for Black Friday, but the discounts only lasted for 24 hours, and they didn’t take part in Cyber Monday.
Where are Zara special prices?
When the sale isn’t taking place, Zara has a secret area on its website for all their sale items, which is called ‘Special Prices’.
You’ll find this at the bottom of the Woman menu. While Zara does not widely publicise it, you can find some gems here.
