You know how they say the early bird catches the worm? The same applies to Black Friday.
Black Friday 2021 is slated to take place on 26 November, giving us plenty of time to plan out our purchases. This also gives us time to find out which offers are worth utilising and which ones to pass on.
But how do you actually know which brands will have good deals for Black Friday? The easiest way to do it is to look back at each brand’s past sales, as more often than not they run the same deals each year.
Last year, we saw The Outnet release a promo code for an extra 25% discount on their already-discounted items, which later went up to up to 75% off. Mango also slashed 50% off their items especially for the shopping event.

Where can I get the best Black Friday 2021 deals?
Most brands and retailers run a sale during this time of the year, but here are the ones we know for sure give great discounts.
& Other Stories – The clothing brand offers 20% off on selected items during the sale.
AllSaints – The clothing brand starts Black Friday quite early — around two weeks before the actual date — and extends the discounts of up to 30% till Cyber Monday.
Astrid & Miyu – The jewellery brand offers up to 25% off on its pieces.
DeMellier – The homegrown brand offers 20% off on its bags, but you need to keep an eye out for the code it will release.
Edge of Ember – This jewellery brand’s sale, which sees discounts of up to 15%, extends to Cyber Monday.
Farfetch – The retailer is generous during this time of the year too, with discounts of up to 50% off.
Ganni – The Scandi brand is generous during that time of the year and offers up to 50% off on all of its items — as in all of them from coats to shoes.
House of Hunny – Snap up your favourite items from the cult-favourite brand for less — up to 20% off to be exact — during the sales.
Jigsaw – This luxury womenswear brand offers up to 25% off on its items, but you need a code. We’ll update you as soon as we get it!
Lululemon – Get fit in style with the activewear brand’s selected pieces that are at 50% off.
Maje – The luxury line gives up to 50% off on selected pieces as well as an additional 10% off when you buy two or more items.
Mango – The fast-fashion retailer offers a whopping 50% off on many of its items during that time of the year.
Net-a-Porter – This is the third year that the retailer will join the Black Friday sales, and we’re hoping the offers will be even bigger than last year’s. In 2020, it slashed up to 50% in its seasonal edit.
Never Fully Dressed – This is your chance to get the dress you’ve been eyeing from the brand. It offers up to 50% off on its items during the holiday.
Reformation – The sustainable brand offers 30% off on all of its products site-wide.
Selfridges – Aside from the discounts, the retailer also gives out a code that you can use to get up to 20% off on designer items on the site.
Sweaty Betty – Get your activewear wardrobe sorted with picks from the brand that are at 25% off.
Whistles – The contemporary clothing store offers up to 25% off on everything on its site.
ASOS & Topshop – ASOS offered discounts of up to 70% during last year’s Black Friday sale.
M&S – the retailer doesn’t officially take part in Black Friday, but offers discounts anyway of up to 30% on fashion and 20% on beauty.
Cos – Up to 30% off.

When is Black Friday 2021?
The annual sale is scheduled for the last Friday of November, and it falls on 26 November this year.
What is Black Friday?
Black Friday is a sales event that’s believed to have originated from Philadelphia, where shoppers would flock before Christmastime to get the best deals for presents for family and friends, as well as themselves.
The shopping holiday is relatively new to the UK. Black Friday 2021 is the country’s 11th observance of it, but it has surely become quite popular. Some records even say that it has already toppled Boxing Day as the most popular shopping day of the year in the country.
Are deals really better on Black Friday?
Many people have shared that they got the best deals for big-ticket items during Black Friday, but some suggest that you get better deals overall during Cyber Monday.
