The Reformation Sale is Here – These Are the Pieces I’m Snapping Up Immediately

They don't happen often!

Last Updated on September 20, 2023

The Reformation sale has finally landed, and I’m sharing the best pieces you can get right now. There are so many things to love about Reformation – except for its hefty price tags. You’ve likely seen Reformation’s flattering dresses making waves on your FYP, and if you’re anything like me, you’re desperate to add one or two to your wardrobe. I’ve been waiting for the sale with bated breath, and now it’s finally here, I plan to make the most of it.

I like to shop responsibly, opting for brands that offer quality over quantity. Reformation is one of the few brands that can provide that for me; with their focus on sustainability and ethical practices, I can shop confidently without feeling guilty. But despite their great practises, it’s not an affordable brand – especially with the rising cost of living. So what’s worth buying? Keep reading.

How often does Reformation have a sale?

Historically Reformation sales don’t come around too often, so when the label does discount its items, it’s essential to act fast. These sales are highly anticipated by fans of the brand as they offer a rare opportunity to snag Reformation’s quality pieces at a more affordable price point. Usually the sales follow a standard pattern, taking place in summer, during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and in January and August each year. Keep an eye out for these sales, and be sure to act quickly before your favourite styles sell out.

When is the Reformation sale?

The Reformation sale has just started, so there are plenty of pieces still available to shop. Reformation is said to only hold two sales per year, in summer and in January, as well as discount events like Black Friday. They do occasionally have sample sales too. If you’re interested in learning more about these, keep your eyes peeled on our monthly guide to the best London sample sales.

What is a cheaper alternative to Reformation?

There are plenty of brands out there that offer stylish alternatives to Reformation (including some incredible dupes). Free People, Urban Outfitters, H&M, Madewell, Rouje, and & Other Stories are also great cheaper alternatives to the sustainable brand, but of course, these don’t offer the same in terms of sustainability.

Should you size up or down at Reformation?

If you’ve never bought anything from Reformation before, you might be wondering whether their pieces are true to size or if you should size up or down. There’s such a huge variety when it comes to sizes, it can be confusing but Reformation is said to be true to size. Try your true size first, and if it doesn’t fit, you know for next time but we reckon it will. It’s also a great idea to try the item on in-store for your first purchase if you can.
