We never thought we’d say it, but this year we’re longing for a pair of clogs to add to our summer wardrobe.
The comfy wooden-soled shoes are making a comeback for spring thanks to Hermés, which offered a selection of studded slip-ons in its SS21 show and now everyone’s after a pair.
Fashion’s coolest women (including Dua Lipa) are all wearing them as an alternative to their chunky boots, and we have to agree that after a year of relaxing in our slippers, they seem like the perfect shoes to ease us back into normality and put our best foot forward.
If you’re not yet sold, you will be. The high street has made the retro shoe chic again, with gold hardware, studded details and updated styles to give clogs a modern edge.

So while clogs were formerly seen as a seventies shoe that should be left there, the fashion world is embracing them again and we’re on board.
Swedish Hasbeens offer plenty of wearable styles, while high street heroes Zara, Uterqüe, Birkenstocks and even Amazon offer affordable and stylish iterations too.
Here are 13 pairs of our favourites you can buy right now.
