There’s nothing quite as cosy to wear during winter than teddy coats, but will they be in style in 2022?
They’re incredibly cosy – so much so that they’re the closest thing to actually wearing a blanket I can think of, so obviously I’m a fan.
They might be comfy, but as we’re starting to dress up again, will they remain staples for years to come — 2022 in particular? Definitely!
While some people have started to take more style risks after being cooped up at home for months due to the pandemic, there are those who have shifted to wearing comfortable clothing almost exclusively.
The latter will definitely enjoy the ease of wearing teddy bear coats – and that’s not to say they’re not stylish.
The aptly named Max Mara Icon teddy coat is the perfect example of this. It’s become something of a hero piece since it was launched in 2013, with stars including Heidi Klum and Hailey Bieber being seen looking particularly cosy in it.
The high street has been taking inspiration from Max Mara ever since, and now it’s hard to shop anywhere without spotting an iteration of it.
Stand Studio’s iconic teddy coats have also become one of the most popular styles in recent years and these come in a variety of colours and prints.
Of course, it’s not the most slick style – but when it’s freezing outside, who cares?
