Nightclubs are finally open again after a long 18 months with their doors firmly shut, so I’ve found 9 of the best going out dresses for you to party the night away in this summer.
Now that lockdown is finally over, we’re finally able to get dressed up and go out out again. Since we spent the last 18 months cooped up in our homes, it’s only fitting that we go all out now that we can.

I will continue to hold on to my loungewear pieces for when I want to laze around at home, but I’m ready to give them a bit of a break.
If you’ve grown just a little tired of comfort clothing too, you’ll be happy to know that after a long break away, the high street is dropping plenty of party dresses right now – and this time, they’re not holding back. Think sequins, satins and more glitter than you can shake a stick at.
Of course, maximalism is big on the runway right now too. Valentino’s spring summer 2021 collection has an abundance of maximalist pieces that are perfect for going out — sequined dresses, bright trousers, and more.
Gucci’s spring ready-to-wear collection for 2021 is a maximalist’s dream come true — from big pussy bows to bold kitschy prints, it’s got it all.
For those of us who can’t splurge on designer pieces, I’ve found a selection of party dresses from the high street.
Warehouse has a fun black and white checkerboard mini dress, but if you’re feeling the 70s trend, Nasty Gal’s Versace-inspired sequin embellished starfish maxi dress will help you live your disco diva dreams.
For those who want to take just a tiny step out of their comfort zone — that happy middle ground where you’re all dressed up but still comfortable — look no futher than H&M’s jacquard-printed dress.
Here’s my edit of going out dresses you can buy right now.
