Searching for the best H&M jeans to add to your wardrobe? Look no further. The Swedish-based retail giant not only has a wide selection of tops, dresses, and shorts but also offers high-quality denim pants. If you are like me who is struggling to find the perfect pair of jeans, one of my go-to brands when it comes to excellent denim pants is H&M. While I like the ease of dresses, I’m still a jeans girl first. The fact that they can be worn with practically anything is why they’re a staple in my wardrobe.
As seen on previous fashion runway shows, we’ve seen the resurgence of Y2K and the glory of cargo pants, flared pants, and low-rise jeans. Now, taking over the 2023 jeans scene are wide-leg pants, specifically what they call the ‘puddle hemlines’. These bottoms have a long hemline that goes around the ankle like a puddle. Adding to the list of denim trends that we’ll be seeing in the coming seasons are barrel-leg jeans. It has straight-leg jeans, but the hemline has tapered detail, hence the name barrel.
The Swedish brand has been a favourite among many for its trend-led pieces and affordability but you wouldn’t necessarily head to them first for denim. I’d encourage you to think again, as I’ve taken a look at the high street brand’s current offerings and I was surprised (and impressed) by them.
The brand has classic cuts like high-waisted boot cut jeans, but also trend-led pieces like the resurging ‘90s baggy high-waist jeans. For something more contemporary (yet still inspired by throwback trends), there’s also a wide ultra high-waist pair. Lovers of colour and patterns will also be pleased with its selection of vibrant and playful pairs. Shopping for jeans is always a personal endeavour, of course, but check out the ones in my cart too — you just might find your new favourite. Next, take inspiration from H&M Studio’s autumn winter 2023 collection that you might want to incorporate into your wardrobe. On the other hand, if you are confused about what sneakers to pair with your denim pants, I’ve got you, as I’ve listed down styling recos just for you.
