This Affordable Jeans Brand Is SO Underrated

So good, I almost don't want to share.

Is there anyone who likes buying jeans? I don’t know about you, but I find it the most awkward item to buy.

The sizing is complicated, finding the right wash can be difficult, trying them on is a huge faff and a decent pair can be expensive to buy.

But before you search high end denim, I want to let you in on a little secret: Monki actually does really good jeans.

According to their about page, they don’t want to be known just for their stylish collections. They want to be part of driving global change through fashion.

The self-proclaimed ‘purpose-driven’ brand is known for the way they address different socio-political issues—body rights, mental health, feminism, and period poverty.

The high-street brand doesn’t just talk the talk. They turn their empowering words into actionprimarily through their sizing options.

While scouring the internet for jeans, I found an interesting survey about women’s struggle when buying denim. Out of 2,000 women, 46% say it’s difficult to find good pairs of jeans because many options don’t fit everyone the same way.

So, if you’ve ever struggled to find perfect-fitting jeans, you’re not alone.

The best thing about Monki is that they don’t perpetuate unrealistic body ideals. All of their clothes cater to different body shapes and sizes with their variety of fits.

And they’re pretty true to size, with a few pieces running a little bigger. You can check out our Monki size guide here to help you out.

On top of being size inclusive and well-fitting, Monki’s jeans are really decent. They always have a huge choice to choose from, and if you’re in the market for some patterned pairs (my weapon of choice), they have plenty.

Below, you’ll find our edit of the best Monki jeans, and there’s a big chance you might want to snag more than one pair.
