After rocking noughties trends in the past couple of months, Rihanna seems to be taking style inspiration from the ‘90s now and bringing back slip dresses.
It’s no secret that whatever Riri wears automatically turns into a trend. And true enough, the musician and beauty mogul has caused quite a frenzy for lingerie dresses after being spotted wearing a silk babydoll dress while out to dinner recently.

Prior to that, she was spotted wearing a pink slip dress — with matching fuzzy bucket hat — in New York.
So it should really come as no surprise that, according to Lyst, there has been a 41% increase in searches for ‘babydoll’ and ‘lace’ after the Rihanna sighting, and a 34% increase in searches for ‘lingerie slip dresses’ since the start of August.
The Savage x Fenty founder isn’t the only one enjoying the renaissance of the ‘90s trend, though. Her fellow fashion mavens Zoe Kravitz and Alexa Chung have also been seen sporting the look recently.
Now, the question is: will you be the next one wearing a slip dress out? If your answer is yes, then you’ll be happy to know that you won’t have a hard time looking for cute pieces to rock.
