Spring has sprung, we’re finally able to see our friends outdoors (albeit in groups of six) and the sun is shining – so what better time to invest in a swimsuit?
While the question of holidays abroad is up in the air due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it doesn’t mean we won’t be sunbathing this summer. As they’re safe, accessible and actually pretty dreamy, UK parks and beaches have never been more enticing – not to mention the local lidos.
We hate to live up to the British stereotype by mentioning the weather, but we can’t help but feel a little apprehensive at the prospect of stripping off into our itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny-bikinis in UK considering the temperamental skies. Swimsuits however, we can handle.
You might not think they can be versatile, but these stylish one pieces can be worn for swimming, sunbathing, under shorts, skirts or your cute summer dresses. After coming out the other end of a long, cold, boring winter, we can’t wait to style ours in a multitude of ways and sunbathe in style.
Luckily our love of swimwear means we’ve already been scouring the Internet for swimsuits to suit every body, so we’re helping you get ahead of the game too.
Big bust? Figleaves at SimplyBe have you covered. Looking for sustainable swimwear? Junk LDN and Wolven have eco-friendly one pieces you’re going to love, with the latter offering a swimsuit you can wear 8 (!) different ways. Prints lover? Us too, so we’ve found plenty.
With belted, barot, ruffle, crinkle, colourful and simple black one pieces to choose from, there’s something for you here.
