We all love Zara, but while I’d happily shop exclusively from them if I could, I often find myself walking past women in the street wearing the exact same item as me.
I’m not proud, but sometimes it can feel a little disheartening – not to mention embarrassing, if it’s at a party or event.
Obviously the best thing to do is embrace your matching looks and make a joke out of it, but it’s perhaps an even better idea to find some other stores to add to your roster if you want to avoid it happening.
Sometimes it feels like there aren’t any other brands like Zara, but really all you have to do is look. I’ve found so many brilliant places to find new season staples that are just as stylish as the high street store, but that little bit more unique and dare I say it, better quality.
From independent brands KITRI to Inditex-owned names like Massimo Dutti, here are 12 brands like Zara you need to get to know.
